We can almost hear the school bell ringing atop our school house! As Fall approaches, we invite you and your school children to experience Applecrest Farm's educational tour program and the excitement of the harvest season. Your group will have the opportunity to hand-pick our apples directly from the trees, enjoy a tractor-drawn hayride through the sprawling orchards and witness first-hand our nearly 100 year-old farming operation. Fun, informative and extremely hands-on, our privately-led tours make a lasting and, we think, valuable impression on young minds about the vital importance of local agriculture.
To show our appreciation and to acknowledge everyone’s current economic constraints, Applecrest will once again maintain our 2007 pricing structure... that's five years with no increase in tour prices!
Please look over our list of tour options. We think we've designed a wonderful program. If you have ideas about how we can customize our tour content to fit your specific educational needs, please let us know. We love new ideas and we do appreciate and understand the burden teachers and educators face in meeting state and federal curriculum requirements. All of our tours are guaranteed to be fun and educational.
