Week of July 4th, Week 3 of CSA

Happy 4th of July!! We hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday.

For those that have a scheduling conflict in a particular week, you are able to easily change your pickup location & day from your CSA Account link: http://csa.farmigo.com/account/applecrest/summer2018

Please note that this change must be made at least 24hours in advance of your scheduled pickup day.  The only thing to remember is to switch yourself back to your original pickup day for the following week. For example, if you are a Tuesday member and want to switch to Friday for the following week, you have to wait until the end of the week, post CSA distributions. The change can be made anytime after Friday but before Monday so you don’t show up on our list for Tuesday but will appear on our list for Friday of that week.

This can be confusing, we know, but we are here to help! As you can imagine, it’s difficult to manage pickup switches for over two hundred members and we encourage members to manage these types of changes themselves. Also please remember to return your empty share crate in order to get a new one the following week!

Each and every week we do our absolute best to get to you the veggies we include in this newsletter so you can plan your week accordingly. Despite all our best plans and intentions, share contents are subject to last minute changes due to weather, field conditions and random acts of mischief by our beloved Mother Nature.  This means some weeks that half and full share compositions might not be identical and we will make up where applicable.
