CLOSED FOR THE SEASON
SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!
Our newest venture came about really because Farmer Pete is darn particular about his ice cream. Especially chocolate. Fed up with his quest for the perfect place with the perfect cone, he decided to set up his very own old-style New England Creamery, right here on the farm.
And as Applecrest has a history of making things from scratch, it's only natural we would want our ice cream to follow suit. After searching far and wide, we finally settled on well-known sweet-tooth purveyor, Richardson Farms…located just a stone's throw from the farm. This wonderful, local institution has a great reputation and is the perfect match, most notably with their eagerness to blend our grown-on-the-farm fruits with their delicious dairy to make an unsurpassed ice cream just for us.
The Applecrest Creamery is housed in the farm's 1804 post-and-beam barn with windows overlooking our beautiful flower garden and acre after acre of apple trees. We look forward to having you join us for a scoop, pie a la mode, or a fresh fruit smoothie.
Note: All of our ice cream is made from happy, pasture fed cows that have not been given additional growth hormones. We use 14% butterfat and only the finest ingredients, including our freshly-picked fruits and homemade baked goods.
